In the world with full of exploitation of Mother Nature the Moderate fighter Mangesh stands strong restraining for her with his beautiful weapon his painting. He looks “Beyond” everybody's prospect, imaginings and bandwidth. Consequence of his providence for Mother Nature appears in his works. It reminds me of the Hudson River School a mid-19th-century American Art Movement founded by master painter Thomas Cole to save and preserve landscapes being lost in American expansionism. It’s obvious in the Thomas Cole’s painting a “View from Mount Holyoke, Northampton, Massachusetts”. Apparently, Mangesh also strives hard through his works in motivating to spare, preserve and cherish the primitive meadows without letting them lost in for expansionism of concrete jungles.

His landscapes are characterized by their lifelike, detailed, and sometimes idealized portrayal of nature, often juxtaposing peaceful agriculture, and aquatic resources. These elements are made colossal hyperbolically. His vision is prodigious and that’s what makes his canvases roomy detaining huge physiographic province of the Sahyadri Mountains and valleys. Mangesh has concocted some fictional marine canvases that are a gauge to prove his non-archetype understanding of maritime landscapes. These canvases demonstrate Mangesh’s liberal thinking on art which has led him to continued evolution as an artist promoting him gradually towards mastery. Monotonicity in some of his works creates a pensive mood and it reflects as if he has applied a filter of sepia tones. Everything is systematized, be it elected milieu, perfectly transcended perspective, fallen shadows and highlights, tones and scales of each element, lines of horizon, architectures and things, inclines of mountains and hillocks, depth, reflections and flow of water. What do we seek from his works? His works bestow pure charisma, divine ecstasy and mystic teleportation to the place painted on his canvas. The transitions in nature happen mutely, unnoticeably and constantly. Equivalent phenomenon can be felt in his works while our eyes wander around on his painting. Naively clouds merge with mountains to plains to rivers, lakes holding vegetation quite delicately through the synchronization of colours on his mild palette carried to canvas by refined brush lashes.

Mangesh is an Ornithophile by heart, again tell about his nature affection. He is a Professor who believes in passing on legacy of liberal thinking to his students and his kids rather than type casted academics. However, there is a subterranean meditation and discipline in his works. He stands out as popular mentor amongst his students. He is tamed to his place gratefully and has a sense of repayment to Mother Nature. Mangesh leads a contented, comprehensive life with sound family and friends, beautiful home and studio, ample income, lively passion, devotional workplace his college and deserving recognition. Such a contentment will bring to the world some extravagant works of art by Mangesh Shinde to glorify his art fraternity, city, state and country.
